Enrique Iglesias Sexier Than Ever!

It's always a pleasure to give someone else the opportunity to express themselves, and this instance is no different. You already know her for killer translations and media research, but now, you have the opportunity to read her words and feel her incredible personality pop out on the pages of Caja, or in this case the sub-section Latidos. Please give her as much support as you have given to me and Bariloche.....Please give some love to Candela Spirit.

~Peace

When you hear the name Enrique Iglesias – what comes to your mind?  I immediately think of an artist who released his first album titled “Enrique Iglesias” back in 1995 and has been an unstoppable force ever seen.  I also can’t help to think of your typical hot blooded, sweaty, sexy, and passionate Hispanic male who rocks your world with passionate lyrics and arousing moves.

Enrique’s first album which included songs such as “Por Amarte”, “No Llores Por Mi”, and “Trapecista” topped the Latin charts and even won him a Grammy award for Best Latin Pop Performance.  This was the beginning of a great career for Enrique which snowballed with amazing new albums such as “Cosas Del Amor” for which he won an American Music Award, “Enrique”, “Escape”, and “Quizas”, which won him a Latin Grammy award for Best Pop Vocal Album.  What can I say, whatever Enrique touches turns to gold and the rest of his albums just kept getting better and better.  In 2003 he released an album named “7”, which took him on his biggest world tour yet.  This album was followed by “Insomniac” and “Greatest Hits”.  Enrique has broken through the language barriers and has become a well known and respected artist in both the Spanish and English market.

Just last year, our sexy artist released “Euphoria” and just like the title this compilation of English and Spanish songs took the world by storm.  This unique album features collaboration with well known artists such as the Cuban rapper Pitbull, Akon, Usher, Nicole Scherzinger, Juan Luis Guerra, and a duet with no other than Wisin y Yandel.

Enrique is kicking off his Euphoria tour in Connecticut, MGM Grand at Foxwoods on February 3rd, and will be performing at the famous Madison Square Garden on February 5rd.  I think this is the perfect time for him to come to New York because with the super cold temperatures we’ve  been having Enrique will be sure to heat things up and bring us that Latin warmth we all love so much!  According to the tour dates posted on his website, Enrique will visit Miami, Canada, Mexico, UK, France, NE, Belgium, and Finland this year.

Just to show you how passionate this man really is, according to an article in Univision.com, Enrique kisses his fans on the mouth and loves to hold them close.  He said “the kisses that I give and receive from my fans are full of tenderness and packed with emotion”.  Just ask one of his fans who he planted a big juicy one on her lips at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball.   After this note, I think I better check Ticketmaster and buy a ticket for the Madison Square Garden performance because it promises to be an unforgettable one!

Enrique is a nominee for this year’s Premio Lo Nuestro for Album of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year.   The other talented nominees for these categories are Chayanne, Camila, Carlos Baute, Alejandro Fernandez, Shakira, and Alejandro Sanz.  I am counting the days until February 17th to watch this incredible award show.  I will be glued to my TV and rooting for each and every one of these gifted artists!
I will end this blog on a risky note; when you have a chance, check out his video “Tonight” featuring Ludacris.  I must warn you though, this video is on the risqué side and it has a lot of sensual and steamy scenes.  According to Univision.com/musica this video has been censored in many channels and even on some internet portals.  It is also stated on this article that they are thinking of making a “cleaner” version of this video.  But did you expect anything less from this sexy artist?

I leave you with this thought “Isn’t a kiss the very autograph of love”?
