Tales From A Ghetto Klown The Documentary, Show Your Love, Show Your Support

I'm on Twitter this morning making the rounds, as any good blogger does, and I see this tweet from John Leguizamo, who I adore. (It's been said that laughter is the best medicine, if that holds true, then John's comedy could be bottled and sold as the cure for ever is ailing you.)

Any way the tweet says, "Yo peeps, My homeboys made this dope documentary about Ghetto Klown and they need some more help getting it....http://t.co/b6RtRx8e" So of course I clicked the link. It took me to the home page for the documentary.

The film documentary project was headed up by Ben DeJesus, it was filmed in Mew York and various other places as he and his crew followed John through the entire process of putting up this show. Right now they're in post production for the film project and they looking for help to complete it.

If you had the opportunity to see Ghetto Klown on stage, or even if you've been able to catch some of the show on video clips, you know that this show is like adrenaline that's one too many Red Bulls. I have no idea how John can make it through an entire show, but he does. He makes you laugh your butt off, but he also let's you reflect on some of those poignant moments in your life that you may have forgotten, or maybe even don't want to remember. He has the ability to take something out of life that often times can be bitter, lace it with laughter and honey and lead you into a welcomed catharsis.

This documentary is going to allow viewers the opportunity to see what it's like behind the scenes of a live masterpiece.

Now any of you that know me, know that I don't promo things like this often, but there are always the exceptions, and this is one of them.

You can donate as little as $1.00 all the way up to $10, 000.00. The point is that every donation will help bring, what I know is going to be a kick a** documentary from inception to fruition.

My stand on helping out it this, is would be awesome to make monetary donations to help finish the project, but don't be intimidated if you can't help monetarily. Even if you can't make a financial donation, you can always donate your time. Pass the link to the site on your Twitter, post it on your Facebook page or any other social network of your choice. Every bit helps.
