Dejate robar el alma por la musica de Amaury Gutierrez!

Amaury Gutiérrez es un brillante cantautor cubano cuya música brota de su alma. Amaury nació en Cuba el 9 de Septiembre del 1963 y estudio director de canto pero en su corazón siempre supo que quería ser cantante. Desde los 17 años, Amaury comenzó a componer y el día que se enamoro por primera vez fue que sus canciones tomaron ese estilo único y romántico que solo Amaury Gutiérrez posee. Se interesó en aprender a tocar la guitarra y hoy no puede vivir si ella, donde quiera que va Amaury ahí encontraras la guitarra a su lado. Llegó a trabajar como director coral pero desafortunadamente en Cuba no dejaban que los directores o maestros de canto cantaran profesionalmente. Fue por esta razón que Amaury se escapaba a otros pueblos por las noches para poder cantar y vivir esos momentos que le llenaban su corazon de alegría.

En 1989 Amaury consiguió trabajo como maestro y fue de esta manera que pudo unirse al grupo Ensamble y abrir un espectáculo en un festival de Jazz. Fue así que tuvo la suerte de poder comenzar su carrera como cantautor con el grupo Afrocuba unos meses después. Exactamente el 14 de Febrero de 1993, el sueño de salir de Cuba se le hizo realidad a este gran cantante cuando pudo viajar a México. Comenzó a presentarse en diferentes clubes de la ciudad y tuvo la suerte que Jesús López, el presidente de Universal Music lo escucho cantar y quedo muy impresionado. Esa misma noche el Sr. López le dijo que lo quería firmar para su compañía.

En el 1999, lanzó su primer álbum llamado “Amaury Gutiérrez” con la disquera Universal Music el cual fue nominado al Grammy y vendió mas de 600 mil copias. Este disco también recibió el Premio Onda en España. Este año fue muy especial para Amaury porque el famoso grupo Británico Sting le pidió que abriera sus conciertos en Miami y Tampa. Esto fue algo muy especial para Amaury y ni el mismo se lo podía creer.

En el 2000 grabo otro disco llamado “Piedras y Flores” y en el 2001 grabo “Alma nueva”. Estos dos discos fueron grabados en México, un país con el cual Amaury se siente muy agradecido por el acogedor recibimiento que le dieron y todo el apoyo que el publico Mexicano le brindo con su música. Gutiérrez nunca olvida a una persona muy especial para el, el actor y cantante Jaime Camil, que le regalo su primera guitarra electroacústica. “El y su papá me ayudaron mucho en México cuando más lo necesitaba. Eso nunca lo olvidaré”, expresa Amaury.



En el 2003 Amaury Gutierrez llega a los Estados Unidos. En solo 3 cortos años pudo grabar su cuarto álbum el cual titulo “Pedazos de mí”. Este álbum recibió una nominación al Premio Grammy y Amaury siente que es uno de sus mejores discos. Amaury también recibió otra nominación al codiciado Premio Grammy por la canción "Nada Es Para Siempre" la cual fue
grabada por Luís Fonsi.

El gran talento de Amaury Gutierrez lo a llevado muy lejos, tan lejos que ha escrito canciones para muy reconocidos e importantes artistas como David Bisbal, Luis Fonsi, Noel Schajris, Cheo Feliciano, Mijares, German Montero, Jaime Camil, Pandora, Paloma San Basilio, Reyli, Luis Enrique, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Willy Chirino, Alicia Villareal, y el grupo Limite, por mencionar algunos.

Amaury Gutiérrez is a brilliant Cuban singer-songwriter whose music comes from his soul. Amaury was born in Cuba on September 9, 1963 and became a choir director but deep down in his heart he always knew that wanted to be a singer. From the age of 17 Amaury began to compose music and the day that he fell in love for the first time his took a romantic style, one that only Amaury Gutiérrez possesses. He also learned to play the guitar and today he cannot live without it, wherever Amaury goes you will hs guitar by his side. He went as far as working as a choir director but unfortunately in Cuba directors and teachers were not allowed to pursue a career as a professional singer. It was for this reason that Amaury would escape to other towns at night to sing and live these incredible moments that would fill his heart with happiness.

In 1989 Amaury obtained work as teacher and was able to join the group Ensamble and open for a show in a Jazz festival. He was so so lucky to be able to begin his career as singer-songwriter with the group Afrocuba a few months later. Exactly on February 14, 1993, his dream of leaving Cuba became a reality for the singer and he was able to travel to Mexico. He began to appear in different clubs in the city and one night Jesús López, the president of Universal Music listened to him sing and was very, very impressed. On the same night Mr. López told him that he would sign him with his record company.

In 1999, he launched his first album called "Amaury Gutierrez" with the record label Universal Music which was nominated for the Grammy Awards and sold more than 600 thousand copies. This album also received the Premio Ola in Spain. This was a very special year for Amaury because the famous British group Sting asked him to open their concerts in Miami and Tampa. This was something very special for Amaury and he could believe this was happening to him.

In 2000 he recorded another album called "Piedras y Flores" and in 2001 he recorded "Alma Nueva". These two albums were recorded in Mexico, a country who Amaury feels very grateful to, for the warm welcome they gave him, and all the support the Mexican people have given to his music. Gutiérrez never forgets a very special person, the actor and singer Jaime Camil, who gave him his first acoustic guitar. "He and his dad helped me a lot in Mexico when I needed it most and I will never forget it."

In 2003 Amaury Gutierrez arrives in the United States. In just 3 short years he succeeded in recording his fourth album which he titled "Pedazos de Me". This album received a Grammy nomination and Amaury feels that it is one of his best albums. Amaury also received another nomination for the coveted Grammy Award for the song "Nada Es Para Siempre" which was recorded by Luis Fonsi. Gutierrez said, "I think it is a great album and I hope it forever remains as a fan favorite". Amaury received the Latin Grammy this past year for this album in the category "Best Album of singer-songwriter".

The great talent of Amaury Gutierrez has gotten him very far. Yes, I'm going to start this article with the statement that this list is missing an album, Chayanne's 2010 release "No Hay Imposibles" should be among this list of nominees. It baffles my mind once again as to how the best album release of the entire qualifying year failed to make the cut. Bariloche wrote an incredibly tactful article addressing this unwelcome phenomena. So I won't go over the territory again. With that said we wish all of the nominees well.

Sí, voy a comenzar este artículo con la afirmación de que esta lista no se encuentra un álbum de 2010 de Chayanne liberación "No Hay Imposibles" debe estar entre la lista de nominados. Se confunde mi mente una vez más de cómo la liberación de mejor álbum del año entero de calificación no hacer el corte. Bariloche, escribió un artículo muy discreto frente a este fenómeno indeseable. So who do I think the front runners are going to be? Calle 13, Enrique Iglesis, and Shakira. To Start, Calle 13 garnered a record 10 Latin Grammy nominations in all of the major categories. Enrique has been dominating the charts since the July 2010 release of "Euphoria" . Out of 10 songs, The chart topping "Euphoria" contained six duets with artists that were all from various genres (Latin, Pop, Hip Hop, and R&B) does the formula sound familiar? Shakira's "Sale El Sol" has record sales that speak for themselves.

Entonces, ¿quién creo que los pilotos de cabeza van a ser? Calle 13, Enrique Iglesis, y Shakira. Para empezar, Calle 13 obtuvo un récord de 10 nominaciones al Grammy Latino en todas las categorías principales. My pick for the Latin Grammy Album of the year is going to go to Shakira. To top off Shakira's nominations, she will be receiving an incredible honor from the academy. Shakira will be receiving honors for her contribution to music and charity work.   In my opinion Shakira brings much more than her music, but we'll have to tune in to the Latin Grammy Ceremony to see if I'm right.

Mi elección para el Álbum de Latin Grammy de este año se va a ir a Shakira. Para colmo de nominaciones de Shakira, ella va a recibir un gran honor de la academia. Shakira va a recibir honores por su contribución a la música y obras de caridad. En mi opinión Shakira trae mucho más de su música, pero vamos a tener que sintonizar la ceremonia de los Grammy Latino para ver si estoy en lo cierto.

The nominations for the 12th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards were announced on September 14th at a press conference attended by national and international media at the Avalon in Hollywood, Calif. This event was also streamed live on LatinGRAMMY.com.

This year's Latin Grammy Awards will be aired on November 10th from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The broadcast will be live on Univision Network from 8–11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central).

The Latin Grammys have been bringing together the Latin music community from all areas of the world for more than 10 years now. These awards recognize the excellence and impact that the Latin music has throughout the world. I am sure all of you are looking forward to another year of celebrating the very best of Latin music and let's hope our favorite artists are chosen as the winners. The album includes performances offered by Juanes, Paulina Rubio, Andrés Calamaro, Diego Torres, Zack de la Rocha, and Calle 13. The album reached number one on the albums chart in Mexico and at number three on the Billboard Top Latin Albums in the U.S.

To promote the album, Los Tigres del Norte released "Blows to the Heart", first included on his album "The Example" (1995), and re-recorded for the live album with fellow Mexican singer Paulina Rubio. The only track on the Billboard Regional Mexican songs and Top Latin Songs, surveys, and received a Latin Grammy nomination for Record of the Year.

"Lo Mejor De Mi Vida Eres Tú" is a song by Puerto Rican artist Ricky Martin, the first single from his ninth album called Music + Soul + Sex. This song was released on November 2, 2010 on iTunes. Ricky Martin sings the English version with Joss Stone and the Spanish version is sung accompanied by Natalia Jimenez. Ricky also sings this song northern style with Jenni Rivera. And in Germany and Austria "The Best Thing About Me is You" is sung by Ricky and Edita. Ricky also released an album this year with his all time best songs and this beautiful song was included on it.

Calle 13 lanzó su video "América Latina" como parte de su álbum "Entren Los Que quieran". Esta canción tiene una nominación al Grammy Latino por Mejor Canción del año, esto es sólo una de las diez premios Grammy Latino está nominado este dúo puertorriqueño de este año. Video fue dirigido por Jorge Carmona y Milovan Radovic y producido por Alejandro Noriega. El vídeo comienza con una presentación en vivo en una estación de radio de los Andes. Con hermosas vistas panorámicas de la región de América Latina.

El coro está muy bien cantado por cantantes folclóricos de la Música Latina Toto La Momposina, Susana Baca y Maria Rita. La canción recuerda sobre diferentes temas y las luchas que América Latina sigue teniendo, también menciona la Operación Cóndor, una campaña política que fue responsable de miles de muertes en América del Sur. La canción también se centra en el hecho de que las cosas más importantes en la vida no se puede comprar.

En Abril de este año el cantante puertorriqueño Luis Fonsi lanzó este su sencillo "Gritar", el primer tema de su nuevo álbum "Tierra firme". "Gritar es un tema de lucha contra la adversidad, de coraje orientado en sentido positivo y que libera eso que uno siente de no quedarse con nada por dentro", expresó el cantautor en una entrevista telefónica con Notimex. La producción sigue con el mensaje positivo de otras melodías como "Yo no me doy por vencido", de su anterior disco "Palabras del silencio", la cual fue elegida la canción de la década de Billboard.

Fonsi admitió que "el éxito de esa canción no sé si vuelva a lograrlo en mi vida", pero aseguró que aprovechará ese impulso para que la gente conozca más sus canciones y "que ésta relación con el público siga creciendo y cultivándose". "Gritar" fue escrita por Fonsi y Claudia Brant, producida por Armando Avila y mezclada por Sebastian Krys, el equipo de trabajo con el que Fonsi ha logrado algunos de sus más grandes éxitos.

Los Tigres del Norte y sus amigos es un álbum en vivo de artistas mexicanos de grabación de Los Tigres del Norte. Lanzado por Fonovisa Records el 24 de Mayo 2011, fue grabado antes de una audiencia en vivo en el Hollywood Palladium en Los Ángeles, California, el 8 de febrero de 2011. Luís Fonsi en el mejor momento de su vida profesional y personal!

Luís Fonsi se unirá a una lista muy prestigiosa de cantantes que han interpretado el Himno Nacional de EE.UU. en un evento deportivo. Fonsi ha sido invitado a cantar el Himno Nacional este domingo que viene, cuando los Delfines de Miami se enfrentaran a los Texanos de Houston. El puertorriqueño estará cantando en el estadio multi-deportivo situado al norte de Miami, Florida. Luís Fonsi espera que sus nervios no lo traicionen para no equivocarse con la letra de tan importante canción. En el pasado, algunos artistas han cambiado las letras, e incluso el tono y el ritmo de este himno.

Luís Fonsi estará celebrando su nominación al Latin Grammy Latino por Grabación del Año, gracias a su canción "Gritar" incluida en su ultimo incluida en su último disco "Tierra Firme". Luis Fonsi having the time of his life, both professional and personal!

Luis Fonsi will be joining a very prestigious list of singers who have interpreted the U.S. National Anthem at a sporting event. Fonsi has been invited to sing the National Anthem this coming Sunday as the Miami Dolphins face the Houston Texans. The Puerto Rican will be singing at the multi-sport Sun Life Stadium located north of Miami, Florida.

Luis Fonsi is hoping that his nerves don't get the best of him as he does not want to mess up the lyrics to such an important anthem. In the past some other artists have changed the lyrics and even the tone and rhythm of the song. Luis Fonsi continues to feast on his nominations for a Latin Grammy for Record of the Year thanks to his song "Gritar" (Shout), included in his latest album "Tierra Firme" (Firm Ground).


The Puerto Rican singer who awaits the arrival of his first child, received the news about his nomination while in a concert in Venezuela, and this is what he had to say about the nomination to the Latin Grammys, "I feel very honored, thanks!!!! "Gritar" (Shout) became a smash hit since its launch and was placed in the top positions in the charts in the U.S., Argentina, Spain, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico, as per a detailed press release.

While Fonsi waits for the Latin Grammy's which will air November 10th, he will continue his tour throughout Latin America and in November he will be visiting several cities in Venezuela. Best of luck Luis Fonsi!!!!
