Sade Is Coming Back Strong! The Ultimate Collection Release

Alright you Sade fans...you know who you are...mark this date on your calendar May 3, 2011, Sade will be releasing a 29-track, two-disc album will include four new, never-before heard songs including a remix to “The Moon And The Sky” (featuring Jay-Z). The Ultimate Collection also features 15 tracks that were not included on Sade’s 1994 “Best Of” album. Here for the first time, fans can find all of their favorite Sade classics including songs Lover’s Rock and Soldier Of Love.

It also includes the track "Still In Love With You", which is one of the four never released songs. You can give it a listen below. I'll have to tell you, and yes this is purely my opinion, there are VERY few artists out there that you can just pop on their album and know that every song you hear is going to be amazing! There's only one other song that I'm waiting for Sade to make, and that song is a duet *WINK*....I can wait...I'm very patient.

So while waiting for Sade to record that special duet (me being hopeful),  she's touring all summer with John Legend, who is an amazing musician in his own rite. So you can check her out live at the concert nearest you. If you miss Sade live you might not ever forgive yourself.

Sade is back and she's back strong!
Sé fuerte, vivo fuerte, fuerte amor, canta fuerte!

Sade - U.S Tour 2011...Be There Or Be Square!

What better way to break in Rythms and Blogs than with one of MY personal favorites....Sade!
You have to understand how excited I was when her new album came out, but what took me over the top was when they announced a few months later that she was going on tour!

So while I was surfing looking for information on the tour I came across a really interesting article that ties in with the article that I wrote a little while back, "Chayanne, Sade....Spontaneous Combustion", that speaks to what a powerful duet Chayanne and Sade would make. Well this article, "Sade Not Down With Jay-Z Collaboration", speaks to not only Sade's views on a collab with Jay-Z, but with other artists as well. The re- post of the article is below the images.

~Sade...if you're listening, have no fear of working with Chayanne. Working with him would be like chocolate and champagne.....they compliment each other perfectly, and so would you and Chayanne! (Right Ron! We need to talk about this a little bit more. You make great conversation by the way!)

"Sade Not Down With Jay-Z Collaboration"

Posted by Daniel Rouse On October 19, 2010

"Sade isn’t interested in joining the “collaboration” band wagon, the one that features rappers collaborating with R&B and soul artists to add flare and spunk to new cuts.
The singer said that she has turned down offers by several rappers, including chart topping rapper and hip-hop music mogul Jay-Z for fear that other artists may reveal her, musically, that is.
“I’m too scared”, the singer tells The Los Angeles Times, “They’ll find me out. It’s like The Wizard of Oz. They’ll find out there’s nothing there. As for collaborations, I’m collaborating with the band and do what we do. I see myself as a member of this band who does these songs that we write.”
Either this Grammy Award winning artist is too ballsy to mix things up and add a street flavor to her music or is simply too guarded in keeping the mystery of her music to herself and to those who appreciate it, but Sade really is one hell of an artist that everyone, including her contemporaries, should bow to for being a non-conformist and preserving her own brand of soul and R&B amidst the new trends in the biz."
